Clergy

The Rector is the Very Rev Dr Francis Bridger who is also Dean of Brechin diocese.  He also holds a teaching post as Professor of Anglican Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, California. He has written or edited 12 books on practical theology.

He is married to…

The Associate Rector, the Rev Helen Bridger.  Helen has been ordained since 2005 and has served as a parish priest both in the Diocese of Los Angeles and in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.  Immediately prior to her arrival at St Mary's she was a hospital chaplain in Norfolk.

The Curate is the Rev William Neill.  Born in Edinburgh, he served for thirty years as a Church of Scotland Minister, and thereafter as a teacher of religious education.  Having joined the Scottish Episcopal Church in 2011, he was ordained to the diaconate in 2015.  He has his own website at www.williamgeorgeneill.com.
